SANCTUARY - REFUGEE SETTLEMENT

Sanctuary seeks to be an instrument of God’s peace. Since 2015, when Sanctuary members began the process of sponsoring a refugee family from Syria, we have coordinated the talents and treasure of the parish to meet the needs of the Maree family. Although such arrangements with refugee families in Canada often do not extend beyond one year, the Maree family continues to thrive with the ongoing support of our parish. We have now broadened our scope to plan for other families, currently the seven members of the Al Abdalla family.
